Granola
10 cups old fashioned oats

1 and 1/2 teas. salt |
| 1 cup ground flax seed |
1/2 cup molasses |
| 1/2 pound shredded coconut |
3/4 cup honey |
| 2 cups raw sunflower seeds |
1/2 teas. ground ginger |
| 1 cup flax seed |
1 teas. ground nutmeg |
3 cups chopped almonds or pecans

1 table. cinnamon |
| 1 and 1/2 cups brown sugar packed |
3 teas. vanilla extract |
| 1 and 1/2 cups water |
1 teas. cloves |
| 1/2 cup vegetable oil |

Preheat oven to 300 degrees, in a large bowl combine oats, ground flax, cocnut, flax seed, sunflowe seeds, and nuts. Blend well. In a large saucepan combine brown sugar, water, oil, honey, molasses, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves and vanilla. Heat until sugar is dissolved, but do not boil. Pour syrup over dry ingredients and srir until well coated. Spread into 5 9x13 cookie sheets with sides Bake 25 to 35 min. stirring at half way point. cool add raisins or dried fruit if desired. Store in airtight container in a cool dry place Use within 6 mths. Makes 20 cups
